More than 10 houses, two buildings damaged by fire

MORE than 10 houses and two buildings were damaged by a fire that broke out in Barangay Day-as, Cebu City at past 6 p.m. Saturday.

The fire alarm was raised to Task Force Alpha at 6:25 p.m. and was controlled at 7:06 p.m.

Cebu City Fire Fire Marshall Rogelio Bongabong Jr. said the fire started allegedly at the house of a certain Anthony Conejos.

Bongabong said they are still investigating what caused the fire. Witnesses said they saw sparks from the electricity post.

Damages were pegged at half a million pesos.
