A traffic enforcer was shot dead as he rode to work across a municipal hall in Barangay Poblacion Occidental, Consolacion, northern Cebu Thursday morning.

The 42-year-old victim was identified as Antonio Guitterrez of barangay Polog, Consolacion town.

PO1 Cresenciano Saladaga, desk officer of the Consolacion police precinct, said two men wearing ski masks followed the victim on board a motorcycle.

“He was shot and died on arrival at Eversley Child’s Sanitarium and General Hospital,” Saladaga said. Police recovered eight shells and four deformed slugs from the crime scene.
