Two Cebuano mixed martial arts fighters had different results in their respective bouts in the Pacific Xtreme Combat (PXC): Laban MMA held at the Limketkai Atrium Center in Cagayan de Oro City Saturday night.

YawYan ArDigma’s ace fighter Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro was successful in his debut in the lightweight division as he scored a second-round knockout against veteran MMA fighter Lorde Rey “Punisher” Yamit of Butuan City.

But fellow Cebuano Arnel “Shooter” Ylanan of Project X MMA wasn’t as lucky as he bowed to Davao City’s Ruben Lanaza by decision in their three-round bout in the flyweight division.

Rosauro improved his record to four 4-1 (win-loss) while Yamit tasted his sixth loss in eight bouts.

Meanwhile, Cebu-based French kickboxer Paul Carrere won by a rear naked choke against Fred Lim o Dumaguete City in another match.
