Boat passengers advised to keep watch

Passengers heading to Cebu’s ports were advised to be on guard in light of the bombing incident in Davao City last Friday evening.

Glenn Sarador, chief for port of police at Cebu Ports Authority (CPA) said they raised the security in all ports in the province.

“If they noticed suspected personalities, luggage and baggage please inform us right away,” Sarador told Cebu Daily News .

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Cebu also augmented personnel and K9 units for additional security.

PCG Cebu Station Commander Agapito Bibat said there will be more inspections especially before the departure of vessels in all ports.
