Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III yesterday issued Executive Order No. 15, which is an FOI order for the Cebu Provincial government.

“This is our way in supporting our president. You know dili mi parehas og partido but yet I announce several times, that this administration and ako mismo personally will support the president sa iyahang mga agenda,” said Davide, who is under the Liberal Party while Duterte is under Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).

Davide is the first governor in the country to issue this order after Duterte issued EO 2 or the FOI order of the country’s executive department last July .

EO 15 provides for a system in the executive department of the Capitol in obtaining information or documents and acknowledges the people’s constitutional rights to information on public matters.
