Suspected pusher shot down in Cordova

A 46-year old drug pusher failed to make it to a hospital after being shot down by police during an aborted drug bust in barangay Bangbang, Cordova town at 1:30 am Saturday.

Edward Tarroza, a resident of Purok 2 in Bangbang, saw that police were about to arrest him so he pulled out a handgun and fired several shots but missed.

Taken from his possession were one medium pack and four small packs of suspected shabu, P250 buy bust money and a loaded .45 pistol.

Tarroza was not in the drug watchlist of police.
