Palma: Pray the Holy Rosary for peace

Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma encouraged devotees to pray the Holy Rosary to sustain peace.

In his homily during the noon Mass held to at the International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) Pavilion in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City to welcome the image of the Miraculous Mama Mary of Lindogon, Palma emphasized the importance of praying the Holy Rosary in attaining peace in families and in all nations of the world.

The Miraculous Mama Mary of Lindongon image was transported to the IEC Pavilion from Her shrine in the village of Simala of Sibonga town, 60.7 kilometers south of Cebu City, in time for tonight’s Marian concert starting at 7:30 p.m.

The “It’s All About Her” concert is organized by the Kapandesal MultiPurpose Cooperative (KMPC) Cebu aims to raise P5 million for the construction of two classrooms and a laboratory for the K-12 program of Our Lady of Lindogon Foundation in Barangay Simala.

“Mama Mary is the source of physical, spiritual, and moral healing. We feel the love of God through her,” Palma said.

The miraculous image will be brought to the Basilica Minore De Sto. Niño tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. It will be brought back to the Marian Hills in Lindogon, Simala in the morning of Oct. 9, Sunday.
