Former world title challenger Milan “El Metodico” Melindo vowed to win impressively and impress boxing fans in his upcoming world title fight vs Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. of Thailand on Nov. 26 in the main event of Pinoy Pride 39: IBF World Jr. Flyweight championships at the Cebu Coliseum.

Melindo (34-2-0, 12 KOs) will try to capture a world title for the third time. He faces Sakkreerin Jr. (31-4-1,16KOs) for the IBF Interim world junior flyweight title.

“I will show them a new and improved Milan Melindo who is tougher, stronger and more focused,” Melindo said in a press conference on Friday at the Abuhan Tres in Cebu IT Park. “My priority for this fight is to entertain boxing fans and win this title.”

Melindo will be joined by Jason and Albert Pagara, who will fight in the undercard.

Jason “El Niño” Pagara will face a former world champion Jose Alfaro of Nicaragua while Albert takes on Raymond Commey of Accra, Ghana.
