CEBU City Gov. Hilario Davide III is encouraging the public to take their time to reflect and to pay respect to the dead as they celebrate All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day and the long weekend ahead.

“Let’s pray for the dead and also ask for intercession para sa mga patay, sa mga igsoon nato nga nangamatay, mga paryente, and I think this a time also to reflect pud,” Davide said as his message to the Cebuanos especially to those going home to their towns and provinces

“It’s a long weekend, mag-amping lang ta, labi na gyud ig pamauli, ig byahe,” he said. “Pray for safety of everyone traveling to their destinations karong Kalag-kalag.”
