SARAH GERONIMO
POPSTAR royalty Sarah Geronimo has brought home another award at the recently concluded Tokyo Classic Rock Awards held in Japan.
She was named as the Best Asian Performer.
Sarah together with fellow Kapamilya singer Bamboo, performed during the awarding ceremony held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, joining the ranks of Joe Perry, Aerosmith guitarist and Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine.
Aside from her, Def Leppard and Jeff Beck were also among the artists given recognition during the Classic Rock Awards.
The award giving body, also called as the Classic Rock Roll of Honour, started in 2005 by Classic Rock magazine and honors rock icons, musicians, and songwriters.
Sarah is also nominated for Best Southeast Asian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards last September.
