METROSPORTS Center, in cooperation with Yonex, Sunrise and Crown Regency Hotel & Towers, will hold its 14th Annual Badminton Tournament on Sunday, December 3.
The tournament is open to players from levels D thru G, in Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles. A Supermix Level for Men’s and Mixed Doubles has been added for a Level A/C, B/B, or B/C pairing.
The Executive Division-Men’s Doubles will be split in two groups: players 45 years old and above-Senior Executive and 40-45years old-Junior Executive. The Ladies’ Doubles Executive Division, on the other hand, will be for players 40 years old and above.
Champions of the Supermix Level will receive P5,000 plus medals. Level D champions will get P4,000 plus medals while their Level E counterparts will get P3,000 plus medals. The runners-up in the aforementioned levels will settle for P1,500 plus medals.
Level F champions and the victors in the three Executive Division Levels will receive P2,500 plus medals. Runner-up for the Executive Senior Level will get P1,500 while the Level F, Executive Junior and Ladies runners-up will pocket P1,000 plus medals.
The champions in Level G will receive P2,000 plus medals and their runners-up, will bring home P1,000 plus medals.
Registration fee is P700 for the first entry and P500 for the second entry. The first entry fee is inclusive of tourney shirt, PM snack, prizes and fees. Deadline for registration is on November 27.
