Spread 2.0: A Food Carnival serves hundreds of mall goers

THE second leg of Spread dubbed as Spread 2.0: A Food Carnival of SM Seaside City Cebu is timely for the weekend celebration of SM Seaside’s first year anniversary last November 27, serving free food for all.

Spread 2.0 was joined by hundreds of mall goers who enjoyed the food spread prepared by different of SM Seaside City Cebu including The Seaside Saloon by the Social, Paolito’s STK ta bai!, Pink Heaven, Cabalen, SOI, The Pitstop, Zawadi Coffee and Gelato, Lamujin, Butterbean, Snowvinz, The Redbuck’s Coffee, and Hukad.

The food carnival started with a parade of chefs dressed in their best cooking attire followed by a culinary demonstration by Cabalen’s chef Rodulfo Mapang featuring the store’s best-selling Kare-Kare.

The event was attended by invited culinary students and food bloggers who experienced the best-tasting specialties; Seaside Saloon by the Social showed to the audience how they’re not just best in alcoholic mixes but in gourmet as well with their very own Tuna Taco.

Chef Bryan Ouano of ZAWADI Coffee and Gelato demonstrated how to make their unbeatable gelato, creamy yet not too sweet, perfect for the Pinoy palate. While chef Sandara Wang of Lamujin featured her lamb rib grill. The famous food recipe of Thailand which is the Pad Thai was featured by chef Jose Alvarez of SOI restaurant.

Providing more entertainment during the food carnival were the performances from the Four Tunes Band and the Sinulog Idol winners. /PR
