THE Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), the country’s major private sector coordinator in disaster management, presented “The Care Package” high-energy biscuits (HEBs) during a simple ceremony at the Shell House Building in Makati City recently.

The PDRF said the nutrition-packed HEBs will be prepositioned as food packages for donation in calamity-stricken communities to effectively address the perennial post-disaster problem of food shortages.

PDRF is working with the field experts and reputable humanitarian institutions for private sector solutions to disaster management.
