JOHNDORF Ventures Corp. (JVC) has been building homes Filipinos aspire for 30 years now. But it also built a legacy for the company’s stakeholders, especially the homeowners.

JVC CEO Richard Lim gave this gist in his sharing with players of the real estate industry in the region during the recent summit of the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) – Central Visayas.

More than providing homeowners with “sustainable communities that bring them a better life,” Lim said JVC also looked at the growth of its employees and those who have worked with them through the years.

They include all the company’s stakeholders, added Lim in his message read in full by his daughter Dominique, also JVC managing director. Driven by these, the company managed to develop construction procedures that hasten the development without compromise to cement curing; and without disregard to our environment.“This has made our operations more efficient, and it has given us a window to build subdivisions with more values, better sustainability, things that ensure quality living for the homeowners,” he said.

In fact of late, “we are now able to offer economic housing projects with better amenities that are not normally seen in economic or low-cost subdivisions,” he added.

Lim noted that the roads have become wider; materials used have been of better quality, while JVC further introduced improvements with the utility systems.

In recent years when his daughters – Nikki and Abigail – became his apprentice, Lim said it came to be more than just running a business.

In the twilight of his own career, Lim said track now would be to make the business of Johndorf sound, create better and lasting partnerships, and nurture the culture and values of the organization.

“When my children take over, (JVC) will stand on a foundation of security that the industry would feel comfortable and worth its trust,” he added.
