THE DECIDING game of the exciting finals series between the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles and their fierce rivals University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers in the 2017 Cebu National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) will be on Saturday afternoon at the Hoopsdome in Lapu-Lapu City.

Gametime is set at 2:30 p.m. with the two squads gearing up for what is expected to be an all-out war for the right to represent the region in the National High School Championship this March.

The Magis Eagles, six-time rulers of this tournament, kept their bid for a seventh straight title alive last Sunday when they outlasted the Baby Lancers, 65-63, in Game Two before a packed house at the Minglanilla Sports Complex.

UV drew first blood in Game One, 82-80, on Saturday.

However, it remains to be seen if two-time Cesafi juniors MVP Jed Colonia will be able to suit up in Game Three after he suffered a knee injury in the second half of Game Two.

Before the much-anticipated decider, the Division 2 finals of the Lapu-Lapu NBTC tournament will be played between the Pajo National High School and the Babag National High School.
