FORMER two-time Cesafi MVP Enrico Llanto threw his weight around and towed the Vice Mayor Edgar Labella team to a 74-71 win over MDC in the Urban Basketball League – ASPA Cup 2017 last Sunday at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball courts.

Llanto, the undersized power forward who led the University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors to back-to-back finals appearances in the Cesafi a decade ago, had a whopping 38 points and 20 rebounds, which proved enough to get his team the thrilling victory.

In other games, Stay Fit continued its winning run as it defeated the FD Cebu, 65-58.

AJ San Juan led the team with 18 points while Anton Solon helped him out on the glass by pulling down 15 boards.

DPWH also emerged victorious over Colt 45, 102-78, behind the 18-point, five-assist, four-steal performance of Chris Sorono. Auto Central routed Focus, 89-66, as Michael Tariman shone with 28 points and four assists.
