In an effort to promote the Philippines to the Filipinos, Cebu Tour and Travel Association (CTTA) and Cebu Alliance of Tour Operations Specialists (CATOS) took the lead to promote Cebu and the Philippines as a travel hub. Now on its third year, Travel Catalogue International 2017 will gather over 70 exhibitors offering affordable international airfares, hotels, cruise fares and travel packages.

Having expanded to the promotion of domestic packages, this three-day travel expo will push local tourism, supporting the thrust of the current administration of the Department of Tourism.

“There is more than enough international packages as they always did in the last two years. Now, we are supporting it and we are beefing it up with as much number of local and domestic packages” said CATOS president Alice Queblatin.

Cebu, Bohol, Siargao, Palawan, Batanes, and Vigan are the top destinations that will be highlighted in the travel fair. The three-day travel expo will be participated by exhibitors from Regions I, II, 3 CAR, MIMAROPA, and 7.

The newest feature of the expo is a three-hour business-to-business session between travel agents and suppliers. For the first time, the Japan National Tourism Organization will also be joining the expo.
