FOUR inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) were caught sniffing shabu inside their cell last Wednesday during the Holy Week.

Acting warden Roberto Legaspi said the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) caught the four inmates who were transferred to isolation and lost their visitation privileges.

The incident occurred two weeks after contraband like cash, mobile phones, bladed weapons and six grams of shabu were also discovered in cell number 73.

Legaspi said he called on the PPSC to step up security in the premises to intercept contraband delivered to the cells.
