A POLIO victim suspected of being a shabu dealer was arrested along with six persons in a drug bust at Barangay Poblacion, Consolacion town at 8 a.m. yesterday.

PO1 Jenny Rociana, desk officer of the Consolacion town police precinct, said the operation came about after they arrested one of the suspects identified as 28-year-old Rasan Ajoc and his common-law partner identified as Melanie Ponce, both residents of the area.

Taken from their possession were 11 sachets containing shabu. Ajoc told the police about his alleged supplier who stayed in Liloan town. Consolacion police then contacted the Liloan police who sent their men to the supplier’s home.

With Ajoc as their guide, police arrested Genieve Maglasang who stood at a roadside near her home in Barangay San Antonio, Liloan town.

The police asset bought P2,000 worth of shabu from Maglasang who went back to a house she shared with common-law partner Sherwin Flores, a polio victim.

Police also arrested two women identified as Janet Racoma and Aubrey Rose Bugtai, both residents of the area.
Two sachets of shabu were found in their possession. Rociana said the police seized shabu from Flores worth P1.6 million along with one loaded pistol.
