NO COVER-UP
While search efforts to recover the remains of Bien Unido Mayor Gisela Boniel may end next week, netizens were critical of her husband Bohol Provincial Board Member Niño Boniel for covering his face during the inquest proceedings on his wife’s murder.
Brat Lumbab said Boniel shouldn’t have covered his face since people know him by now as a suspect in the crime.
Marilou Atacador was quick to reply: “Sakto jud, wala nay ulaw banaha (That is right. The husband has no shame).”
Another netizen, Felipe Caton, said Boniel should show his face and not cover it up.
Niño faces parricide charges at the Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly killing Gisela, and is detained at the Fuente Police Precinct stockade.
