Police arrested a suspected accomplice of a murder suspect inside his nipa hut in Tuburan town, southern Cebu.
The alleged accomplice identified as Roel Tapil was caught with one loaded pistol and some ammunition.
Tapil is said to be an accomplice of a certain Jhonny Ylanan in the murder of his wife.
Ylanan had been on the run for five years. Tapil is detained at the Tuburan police precinct where he faces charges of illegal firearms possession.
