Two men killed over feuds

A MAN was stabbed to death over an argument with his neighbor over his dog in Barangay Cogon, Dumanjug town last Thursday afternoon.

The 39-year-old victim was identified as Glen Acujedo while the suspect, Nelson Catubay, was the brother-in-law of Acujedo’s common-law partner.

Police said the two men argued over whether or not to tie up Catubay’s dog. The day after the argument, Acujedo was supposedly stabbed by Catubay on the chest.

Another stabbing victim identified as Romar Saldaña, a resident of P. Burgos St. in Barangay Poblacion I, Carcar City met his end due to a heated argument with his drinking buddies last Friday evening.

Police said Saldaña sustained stab wounds on the neck allegedly inflicted by 50-year-old Julius Paca, a resident of the area. Paca surrendered to police but the weapon was not recovered.
