CEBU City Mayor Tomas Osmeña said he wrote the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. seeking their support for transport networks Uber and Grab

He said while the chamber voiced their support to his stance they are against the continued operation of colorum vehicles that have not complied with requirements set by the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Osmeña said the LTFRB was insensitive to the plight of the riding public. “Most people talk about let’s just follow the law, let’s follow the law. You know, well, these laws eventually becomes obsolete that’s why we have a Congress so we can continually change the law,” he said.
