EX-MAYOR’S ARREST
The arrest of former Medellin mayor and now Councilor Ricky Ramirez on charges of illegal possession of firearms in a raid sent local netizens scrambling to post their comments on the incident.
A netizen, Kenneth Charles, said, “Even if he will not be locked down in jail, people already know who not to vote in the next election.”
But Dale Roach was suspicious about the arrest. He said, “I suspect there is more to this raid than meets the eye. We all know there are so many unlicensed firearms in the country. First, why would a person get a license for firearms? Second, is this some kind of personal grudge?”
Grandspider Sigue, on the other hand, posted a photo that bears the cyptic words “The most dangerous liars are those who think they are telling the truth.”
