THE GABISAY sister-duo from Danao City struck a pair of golds to become the inaugural champions of their respective categories in the 1st Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Central Visayas Invitational Table Tennis Tournament at SM City Consolacion last Sunday.

Kathlyn, 16, took home the 17-Under girls crown after trouncing Cebu City’s Aizel Mae Ron while her 12-year-old sister Shairah beat fellow Danao City player Trishamae Ramoneda to rule the 12-Under girls category.

In addition to the two golds, and one silver, Danao City also amassed three bronzes from Clare Derecho (17-Under girls), Lloyd Kyle Lebosada, and Jayvee Asong (both 17-Under boys).

Team Cebu City had three silver medals while Consolacion had three four bronze medals. Mandaue City had two bronzes.
