FORMER CEBU CITY MAYOR MIKE RAMA

FORMER Cebu City mayor Michael Rama said he met with regional director Supt. Royina Garma of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at 11 am Thursday but declined to elaborate on their meeting.

“I cannot issue any statements to that effect,” Rama said when asked what his intentions were in meeting the regional CIDG chief. Garma earlier said Rama is among the personalities they are investigating for alleged drug ties.

Rama, Cebu businessman Peter Lim, Daanbantayan Mayor Vicente Loot and two police officers previously assigned in Cebu City were under investigation for alleged drug links.

“Dili nana kinahanglan og detail why I end up there but somehow gusto lang nako masulti nindot man among storya (Details are not needed on why I ended up there in CIDG but somehow I just want to say that our discussion was good),” he said.
