Businessman killed in ambush

A 40-year old businessman died after being ambushed by motorcycle-riding assailants at Sangi road in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City at past 1 pm Thursday.

SPO1 Luisito Ernie, investigator of the Lapu-Lapu City police homicide section said the victim identified as Pinto Calil, a resident of Sitio Iba in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City was headed home on board a motorcycle when he was ambushed.
