Dynacast, Kogi-Q remain unbeaten

DYNACAST 2001 and Kogi-Q continued to dominate Division B as they came away with convincing wins in the 22nd Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Basketball Tournament Powered by Common Ground last weekend at the Magis Eagles Arena in Canduman, Mandaue City.

Dynacast crushed Chick@Phil, 101-52, to raise their record to an unblemished 4-0 (win-loss) behind a balanced scoring attack led by Erwin Ngo and Jason Arquisola who had 13 points each.

Kogi-Q, on the other hand, raced to their third win in as many games with a 72-62 victory over King Properties 1993.

Theogene Lim was the high-point man for the winning team with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while wily guard Dennis Que had 15 markers, four boards, six dimes and six swipes.

Many-time league MVP Dave Lim registered a double-double with 15 markers and 17 boards while Grant Go added 10.

In the other Division B match, Savers Depot 1995 upended Filmon 1994, 61-57.

In Division C, People’s General 2015 grabbed the solo lead with a 65-63 win over Omega Pain Killer 2010 that hiked their record to 3-0. In other games, Bling Nation 2014 eked past Bling Nation 2011, 52-50, Crossfit Subtero 2009 defeated Radar Tires 2004, 70-55 while Bizol 2005 beat Cottonseed 2008, 56-40.
