Crossfit Subtero-Primo Builders now 5-1

THE 2009 Crossfit Subtero-Primo Builders earned their fifth win in six tries with a 76-43 bashing of the 2003 Kitrol in Division C action in the 22nd Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Basketball Tournament last weekend at the Magis Eagles Arena.

Niel Benedicto punished his defenders inside and came away with 15 points and 11 rebounds while Justin Gatchalian also had a double-double of his own with 11 markers and 11 boards to help give Batch 2009 a 5-1 win-loss record.

In another game, the 2007 Petron Global Carrier remained unbeaten in four games after they routed the 2014 Bling Nation, 73-44.

Raymund Ortiz paced the winning squad with 18 points and eight rebounds.

The 2005 Bizol also padded its record to 3-1 after defeating the 2004 Radar Tires, 73-56.

Arthur Lao was in his element as he tallied 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three steals.

The 2006 Prince Warehouse handed the 2015 People’s General its first loss of the competition with a hard-earned 63-59 victory.

Floyd Singco led Prince Warehouse’s charge with 15 markers, eight boards, two assists and a steal.

He also got help from Jan Galo who had 14 points and Daren Ong, who pitched in 11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and four steals, to tie their victims in the standings at 3-1.
