Poblacion, Mohon beat foes in Talisay City hoopwars

POBLACION and Mohon slew their respective foes to clinch their first wins in the Talisay City Mayor’s Cup 2017 basketball tournament last Thursday at the Talisay City Sports Complex.

Poblacion edged Pooc 1, 85-70, in the seniors division action while Mohon beat Camp 4, 69-66, in the juniors division.

Lourben Manayon and Allan Dave del Rosario combined for 29 points for Poblacion in the win against Pooc 1.

In the juniors division, Keaton Clyde Taburnal exploded for 25 points to spearhead Mohon. His teammates Sam June Lawrence Tamayo and Mike Mandal scored 15 and 12 points, respectively.
