ALTHOUGH they have yet to confirm that they are in a romantic relationship, rumored sweethearts John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna are taking their growing closeness to another level, posting photos and videos of each other in their Instagram accounts after spending a day together with friends, this time in a resort in Mactan, Cebu.
Cruz, in particular, has been very active on his Instagram account (@ekomsi) posting random things and scenes, including photos of Adarna on their way back to Manila with their friend, Erwin Romulo, former founding editor-in-chief of Esquire Philippines.
He also posted twice a video showing Adarna’s foot while they’re in a boat ride, captioned with a kiss emoji.
Adarna, for her part, posted on her Instagram account (@maria.elena.adarna) a back photo of her with Cruz during the boat ride, using a wave icon as caption and tagging Cruz.
Yesterday, Cruz posted a video of Adarna playing the piano with a friend, to which Adarna reacted with a series of love and music emojis. The two were in a friend’s housewarming and birthday party and were shown doing “art therapy.”
The video Adarna posted had the caption: “Therapy @ekomsi channelling Juan Antonio happy birthday @jiggercruz me channelling penelope cruz Maria Elena #vickychristinabarcelona i need vodka ahhaha” Cruz’s brief trip to Cebu (after the controversial Bantayan trip which caused his much-talked about viral videos) was not exclusive between him and Adarna.
Doreen Ting, Adarna’s best friend, posted a photo with Cruz and their other friends taken at the same beach resort.
“My friendship with you is one of a kind! Thank you @ekomsi for spending my despedida in Cebu! I’ll miss you and @maria.elena.adarna but not for long. Excited for our next adventure next month.
Love you showfu lloydiemae – shufadorrrr,” Ting wrote on her Instagram account (@doreenting). Ting also posted another photo with Cruz and other friends during a dinner in Cebu. “Thank you, Tita Camille for the sumptuous dinner and warm hospitality.
JLC really enjoyed his dinner and he said it was the best meal he ever had in Cebu. #MatiasBBQ #CebusBest,” she said. A quick look at the comments on Cruz’s Instagram account would reveal that most of his fans approve of the relationship and want him to be happy.
