One job order employee in Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) turned out to be positive with drug after the Cebu Provincial Anti-Drugs Abuse Office (CPADAO) mandatory random drug test last Saturday, September 23.

CPADAO chief Ivy Durano-Meca suggested that the government would implement the treatment and rehabilitation program for the drug dependent.

“I would suggest we would implement the treatment and rehab program wherein we will give an assessment to the drug dependent whether he or she is low risk or high risk. So that we would be able to give a referral to the said person,” she said.

Moreover, although Cebu Provincial governor Hilario Davide III, would recommend the drug dependent to undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program, he said that job order employees would be asked to resign.
