Four-day event, which starts Thursday, to feature MIVEC Clean Diesel Advantage Test Drive Tour
In continuation of the celebration of Mitsubishi’s centennial anniversary of automobile innovation, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) is bringing its 100th-year expo to the Queen City of the South starting this Thursday.
This expo, in collaboration with MMPC’s franchised dealer in Cebu, Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp. (FAPC), is going to be held at the SM City Cebu atrium during mall hours from Thursday (Sept. 28) until Sunday (Oct. 1). Admission is free.
Spectators will be able to see up close MMPC’s current vehicle lineup in the expo while enjoying the entertainment and other fun filled activities. They will also have the chance to test drive the Montero Sport and Strada in the MIVEC Clean Diesel Advantage Test Drive Tour. The test drive activity will take place simultaneously at the North Open Parking Area of the mall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Apart from the visual feast with the array of car displays, the expo will also be flooded with games and activities for all ages all throughout the four-day event. Exclusive offers also await those who will reserve a unit during the expo.
Cebuanos will be entertained with the live performance of fellow Cebuano, Morissette Amon of The Voice PH on Sep. 30, Saturday. On the same day, a special segment will be dedicated to activities and awarding of car clubs.
The MIVEC advantage
Similar to last year’s Montero Sport Head-to-Head Test Drive Challenge, the MIVEC Clean Diesel Advantage Test Drive Tour will allow the Cebuanos to test drive the Montero Sport versus its major competitors in the market. But this time, it will be highlighting the performance of MIVEC diesel engine which sets it apart from other diesel SUVs in the market.
Cebuanos will also have the opportunity to test drive the 2017 Strada along with the Montero Sport in the tracks specifically made to showcase the class-leading features and MIVEC engine of both Montero Sport and Strada. To test the capacity of Montero Sport and Strada on a normal road, a regular test drive on the street around SM City Cebu will also be available.
As an added treat, those who will test drive will automatically get a P5,000 discount coupon upon test driving at the MIVEC Clean Diesel Advantage Test Drive. The discount coupon can be used in purchasing any variant of any Mitsubishi models except for FUSO models and fleet accounts. The discount will be applied on top of the current discount being offered on the models.
Meanwhile, a free vehicle check-up at the test drive tent in the North Open Parking Area will also be provided for current Mitsubishi owners in the four-day event.
