THE RUMORED relationship between John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna is gearing up to be one of the most controversial couplings of late, with Instagram followers watching their every move.
So it came as a surprise when both Kapamilya stars deleted Instagram photos of them together.
One of those deleted by Cruz was the photo of him and Adarna cuddling in bed, which he captioned “Sobrang baduy neto pero this girl really did something good to my soul. I’ll always be grateful.”
For Adarna, one of the photos removed showed them holding hands while walking towards the seashore.
After the photos were deleted, Adarna on her Instagram account (@maria.elena.adarna) posted a quote by Australian writer Beau Taplin: “immediately leave behind those who use manipulative behaviour to convince you to change or lose your identity.”
But the post was immediately deleted from her Instagram feed.
Rumors of the romance started on the first week of September during Cruz and Adarna’s Bantayan island trip with Adarna’s friend Doreen Ting.
From that trip, taken were the controversial videos of the actor flashing the dirty finger, singing along to karaoke and sitting next to a Gasul tank.
Apparently their Cebu vacation did not end there. Adarna and Cruz spent another time at a resort in Lapu-Lapu City and went island-hopping during the second week of September.
Adarna shared a photo taken in a banca with Cruz hugging her at the back.
Cruz and Adarna are costars of “Home Sweetie Home,” a situational comedy on ABS-CBN top billed by Cruz and Toni Gonzaga.
