Much anticipated Salomon X-Trail Race tomorrow
A TOTAL of 340 hardcore runners will test their resolve and stamina in tomorrow’s first Salomon XTrail Race Pilipinas 2017 that will coincide with the grand opening of Aboitizland’s Foressa Trails in Barangay Cansomoroy, Balamban.
The race will feature a 21-kilometer and 11k off-road trail run. Each distance has 170 entries as organizers limited the number of participants to ensure the quality of the run and safety of the participants.
The route of the trail running event will traverse the unspoiled and challenging terrain that Foressa Trails offers. Salomon has been annually holding trail runs since 2010, but it is the first time that it is bringing this special race to Cebu.
This Sunday’s participants will pass through natural pools, rivers, falls, boulders and steep hills which is part of the 27-kilometer trail of Foressa.
Gun start is set at 7 a.m. with exciting prizes awaiting the winning runners of the two distances.
