Two Ermita tanods jailed for the murder of a suspected burglar will already be committed to the Cebu City Jail anytime on Tuesday.

SPO2 Wetzel Berry of the homicide section of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said that Junniel Sanchez and Jerome Miral will remain at the city jail while the court hears the murder charge against them.

The two were accused of killing of burglary suspect Lendon Abadenas past midnight on October 10 while transporting their captive to the Carbon Police Station.

Abadenas died from a gunshot wound on his right chest. Berry said that Abadenas’ body remained at the St. Francis Funeral Homes along Natalio Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City.

“Wala pa g’yud pamilya nga ni claim niya (No family came forward to claim the body),” Berry said.
