A security agency supervisor is said to be in hiding after making off with half a million pesos worth of payroll money from his security agency at Barangay Ibabao-Estancia, Mandaue City.

Jerry Singson who is assigned at the Philippine Marshal Agent Security Services supposedly ran off with P450,000 cash that was scheduled for money transfer to 120 guards.

General manager Edwin Jakosalem coordinated with Mandaue City police to trace Singson’s whereabouts. Singson’s service motorcycle was recovered at a mall in Barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City but his location is unknown.

About 10 applicants for security guards complained that they have already given P4,000 each to Singson but have yet to receive their license and certificate.

Singson also loaned P10,000 from the security agency and took a pistol with no permit nor registration. Qualified theft charges are being readied against him.
