P23,000 up for grabs in five-day Boss Toto Billiard Hall’s 9-ball

A TOTAL of P23,000 is at stake in the ongoing Boss Toto Billiard Hall’s 9-Ball Tournament at the Cebu City South Bus Terminal.
According to organizer Allan Colonade, the champion in this tournament, which will run from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, will pocket a total of P15,000 cash, while the second placer will receive P5,000 cash. The third and fourth placers, for their part, will take home P1,500 apiece.
Among those expected to shine in the tourney are Sean Mark Malayan, who recently ruled the Kiosk Billiard Sinulog 9-Ball Handicapping Tournament, Angelo Ariola, Edemar David, Eljun Abellana, Renemar David, Jonas Magpantay and Charlie Relos.
The others are Nelyo Tanio, Abraham Rojo, Dodong Panakan, Renaldo Cabales, Rico Paragayo, Adrian Mangubat, Eljun Abellana, Allan Milan, Marvin Gentapa and Isagani Dorens. /Correspondent Jade S. Violeta
