SWU spikers move closer to quarterfinals

EVERYTHING is looking up for the Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma men’s volleyball team as they moved a win away from clinching a quarterfinals berth in the Philippine University Games (UniGames) men’s volleyball tournament.

This after the Spiking Cobras defeated the University of Mindanao-Davao, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21, yesterday to bounce back from their loss against Arellano University the other day and improve their card to 2-1 (win-loss).

SWU-Phinma hopes to clinch that quarterfinal berth today when it takes on the two-time UAAP champion De La Salle University (DLSU) at 11 a.m.
