Center for Children seeks parents of abandoned child

November 01,2017 - 09:36 PM

THE Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of the abandoned child.

Myn Daeniell Hubahib, was born on December 8, 2016 at Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The child was referred to RSCC for temporary care by Ms. Donna Belle Mante, a social worker of Bohol Crisis Intervention Center (BCIC) on February 17, 2017. The child was surrendered by her mother, 14-year-old Myna Hubahib, to BCIC for temporary shelter.

The parents and relatives may see social worker Vilma Cosido at the RSCC office on Camomot Franza Road, Katipunan Street, Labangon, Cebu City or call her at 414-0243.

Failure of the parties to appear or claim the child within the period of one month will subject the child for the filing of administrative abandonment at the DSWD Central Office. /PR
