Three teams tied for the lead

THE RAPTORS, Bulldogs and Hornets forged a three-way tie for the lead in the standings of the CrossFit Subtero x Cebu Weekend Basketball League Powered by Rad Teamwear last weekend at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.

The Bulldogs slipped past the Bulls, 86-79, as Syv Millevo put up 24 points, six rebounds and three steals.

The Hornets edged the Stallions, 78-74, behind the 21 points, two assists and three steals of Lyndee Lazarte while the Raptors destroyed the Wolves, 115-95, as Art Mantuhac fired in an incredible all-around effort of 20 markers, six boards, eight dimes, five steals and a blocked shot.

All three winning squads posted their third win in four games.

In other games, the Cobras improved to 2-1 with an 84-57 demolishing of the Lions. Joevince Canizares led the way as he scored 28, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out three steals and had four steals.

The Wolves also had an up and down weekend as they lost to the Tigers, 73-89, before winning over the Wolves, 97-83.
