Danao City police uprooted P2.1 million worth of marijuana stalks in upland Barangay Sibakan in Danao City last Wednesday afternoon.

PO3 Arnold Labini of the Danao City police precinct said some of the stalks were burned in the area while the remaining plants were turned over to the police precinct as evidence.

No one was in the area. However, Labini said they believed that farmers in the area cultivated the marijuana plants.
