INGEMAR Macarine, also known as the Pinoy Aquaman, overcame shoulder pains to complete a grueling 15-kilometer, open water swim in the waters of Bohol last Sunday.

The lawyer and environmentalist successfully logged his 31st successful open water swim and his seventh swim of 10 kilometers or more.

He finished his swim from Pamilican Island in Baclayon town to Panglao Island in six hours and 43 minutes.

“I was experiencing shoulder pains in my right shoulder but I did not focus my attention to it,” said Macarine. “I am planning to see an orthopedic doctor to examine my shoulder because the pain is getting worse this time.”

His next swim is on Dec. 10 from Ticao Island to mainland Masbate City, which will be a distance of 10k.

“This is part of my preparation for my last and final attempt to conquer the 21-Mile English Channel in August 2018,” said Macarine.
