THERE’S a cozy spot at Parkmall in Mandaue City known for its wine selection and sweet treats.

It used to be just a buy-and-go place but now Dolce Casa has given diners another reason to visit—good food.

Pasta lovers can take their pick from pesto pasta, tortiglioni and lasagna dishes, all at reasonable prices.

Verge Gamotan, who is in charge of Dolce Casa’s marketing and promotions, said they decided to offer food in Dolce Casa as they had tried out other dining options in the mall and wanted to offer something new to their patrons.

“Naa man mi kanunay mag tambay diri and tanang restaurants sa Parkmall. So ni-ingon mi nga naa man ta’y pasta, why not atong lutuon (and offer)?,” he said.

Aside from their pasta choices, Dolce Casa also offers popular wines like the La Marchesina, Valvini Brumano Rosso, and Barbaresco.

These can be customized and are ideal as souvenirs and gifts, especially that Christmas is just a few weeks away.

Starting its operations in 2007, Dolce Casa aims to cater to each member of the family.

It is for fathers who love wine, mothers who like pasta, and children who can’t get enough of chocolates and gummies.

With a seating capacity of 25, it can also accommodate customers  who want to take a break from shopping and try its  food choices, including the coffee and cake combo, the prices of which range from P125 and P150.

Available coffee are cappuccino, brewed, espresso and cafe latte while their popular cake is the Queen Elizabeth. Non-coffee drinkers need not worry. Dolce Casa also serves hot chocolate and tea.
