Cardinal Wildcats improve to 3-1
THE AMCOD Cardinal Wildcats defeated the Irish Panthers, 88-84, in the 5th Tropang Ballers League (TBL) at the Basak San Nicolas Community gym last Saturday.
James Henry Babiera and Eman Lubas scored 18 and 17 points, respectively, as the Wildcats improved to 3-1 (win-loss).
Renel Marabiles and Erwin Seneca had 18 markers apiece for the Panthers, which fell to 2-3.
Meanwhile, the Fortbyte Angry Gorillas crushed the Roel/Aime Dragons, 70-53, for their third straight victory.
John Tagapan led the Angry Gorillas (3-1) with 21 points.
The Dragons, which fell to 2-2, were led by Tranel Mercado’s 11 points.
In another game, the Alin Custom Brokerage Dragons rolled past the Half Baked Bears, 81-73.
