Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña warned anew City Hall workers that he will fire them if they are proven to be making solicitations using the name of the Cebu City government.
Osmeña issued the reminder in a speech in today’s culmination of this year’s Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan at Cebu City Sports Complex.
“If I found out who you are, I will fire you within one hour.
You will never find any job in City Hall. Nauwaw gyud ko sa mga tawo (I’m so ashamed for the people),” he said.
The mayor also reminded everyone to keep the city clean as the Sinulog Grand Parade draws nearer.
“Let us keep our city clean. Mao na lang na akong gihangyo ninyong tanan (That’s just the favor I’m asking from you),” the mayor said.
