A WEB of sins will unfold this Valentine’s Day as Coleen Garcia and Xian Lim star in a film about marriage and infidelity.
Titled “Sin Island,” the movie also stars Nathalie Hart, who went by the name Princess Snell during her “StarStruck” days.
Star Cinema has shared several video clips on its Instagram account as the lead stars of the film were introduced.
Garcia is 27-year-old flight attendant Kanika who is married to David played by Lim.
But even if she is a married woman, Kanika is still attracted to a pilot.
“Aaminin ko nagkaroon ako ng feelings sa kanya. ‘Di ko na realize na kasalanan siya.
Habang nangyayari ‘di ko maramdamaan na kasalanan siya. Ako kasi unang tumingin sa iba. Siya kasi unang sumuko eh,” Garcia said in the video.
However, it is not only Kanika who commits a “sin” in the film.
Lim’s character, David is a 28-year-old photographer who has been married to Kanika for more than two years.
He admitted that he and Kanika are experiencing marital problems because of the pilot.
“Andyan nga siya harapan ko pero ‘di ko maramdaman.
Hinanap ko ang pagkukulang nung asawa ko sa ibang tao. That moment na magkasama kami it felt right,” he said.
Another video clip then shows Hart as Tasha, a 29-year-old fashion designer who fights for her love for David.
Tasha is also a married woman and is aware that David is married to Kanika.
“David deserves better. That better is me,” Hart said.
Directed by Gino M. Santos, “Sin Island” will hit theaters on February 14 nationwide.
