SPRAY PAINT BAN

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s plan to lobby the passage of an ordinance banning aerosol spray paint because “it promotes vandalism” didn’t sit well with some netizens.

Reuben Tadena wrote: “Di naman sa illegal lang ginagamit ang spray paint. Wag puro ban agad (Spray paint isn’t just used for illegal activities. Don’t resort to bans)!!”

Tadena also wrote: “Baka may makalusot. I-ban nyo na rin ang pagpapatayo ng dingding o pader para sigurado (There may be a loophole. Also ban walls or ceilings to make sure).”

Rener Pelayo said: “Unaha mayor traffic ug basura. Kay grabe ka traffic ug per hugawa wala pay labot ang mga rugby boys (Prioritize traffic and garbage mayor. Because traffic is awful and it’s dirty, we’re not even talking about the rugby boys).”
