CIDG-7 gets new computers

FOUR personal computers (PCs) and two laptops worth more than P300,000 were donated by Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. t o the Regional

Advisory Council of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-7) headed by its chairman, Chester Cokaliong.

The office equipment were turned over to CIDG-7 Chief Royina Garma during the Regional Advisory Council meeting last Tuesday at the Bayfront Hotel in North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.

Senior Insp. Edwin Lacostales, public information officer of CIDG-7, said the new set of computers will replace their old computers, while the old ones will be put in other departments that lack computers.

Lacostales, however, admitted that despite the donation, the CIDG-7 still needs more computers.
