THE Stallions fought back from 21 points down and nipped the Huskies in overtime, 96-95, in the Elite Basketball Club – Toledo Season 3 last Friday night at the CEDC Multi-purpose Gym in Toledo City, Cebu.
Jolito Dumalagan had 37 points while Briant Gaviola scored 20 as the Stallions chalked up their third win and remained unbeaten.
It was a tough first half for the Stallions, who had to trail the Huskies 12-24 at the end of the first quarter.
The Huskies were not done yet in the second canto as their hot shooting put the Stallions down 21 points at the end of the half.
But the undefeated Stallions fought back in the third and managed to take a 62-60 lead entering the fourth period.
The held on to the lead to pull off the impressive win.
Arnel Genon starred for the Huskies with 33 points and 10 rebounds.
In the first game, the Hornets won over the Wolves via default to improve their win-loss slate to 2-1.
